Its My Life von Talk Talk, Come Back And Stay von Paul Young oder Hey Matthew von Karel Fialka sind immer noch einige von meinen absoluten Favoriten!!!

Die von Sundreamer aufgezählten Songs kenne ich fast alle. Es ist kaum zu glauben wie die Zeit vergangen ist. Ich habe die Melodien noch so gut im Kopf, daß ich meinen könnte sie wären noch aktuell. Vieles waren eben Ohrwürmer, die man auch gerne mitgesungen hat.
Das was heute im Radio so läuft ist meistens schon in wenigen Tagen überholt. Hits, die wochenlang an Nr. 1 stehen - wie damals z.B. Europe mit The Final Countdown von 1985 - gibts doch heute gar nicht mehr!

Pet Shop Boys waren auch geil: Da gibts Tietel, wie „Heart“, „Always On My Mind“, etc.
Was ich zuerst fast vergessen hätte wäre noch eine extrem super Band, die ich anfangs für Depeche Mode gehalten hätte. Undzwar ist das Camouflage. Da hab ich auch 2 Titel: „Love Is A Shield“ und „The Great Commandant“. Stehen für mich immer noch ganz oben in meiner persönlichen „Playlist“.
Genesis mit „Mama“ und „Land Of Confusion“ sind der volle Hammer.
Aber da könnte ich glaub ich stundenlang jetzt schreiben, die 80er-Jahre Musik ist etwas total einzigartiges, was es in einer ähnlichen Genialität wahrscheinlich nie mehr geben wird… :heul:
Leider war ich in den 80ern für Disco noch ein wenig zu jung, sonst hätte ich mirs jedes WE voll gegeben :party:
