Bose set for Audi A3 8L

Hello,

i have bought a complete bose set for my Audi A3 8L.
But i was wondering are the tweeters for the front just the original nokia ones (the ones that are in all A3s standard) ?

Also i have recieved an amplifier, but it more looks like a crossover filter or something, the size is really small and doenst look like an amplifier at all.
Is it a crossover filter for the front speakers or is it really an amplifier ?
I guess if it is an amplifier it is adequate to make the speakers play at a „high“ volume and still sound good ?

hmmm isnt there anyone of you that have a bose sound „anlage“ in your car which can confirm if the tweeters are the standard ones and not special bose tweeters ?

Jeg er ikke helt sikker, men jeg mener, da jeg skiftede mine højtalere ud med Bose, at der var forskel på tweeterne… de var vist en smule tungere… ved dog ikke om lydbilledet ændrer sig ved at skifte dem :slight_smile:

hi,

it would be nice if you can take some pictures from the components that you have bought. so it is easier to compare it with another BOSE-SOUND-SYSTEM. Normaly you have a little badge with „BOSE“ on the coverings from the BOSE-Speakers and on the Subwoofer.

I think that the Bose-System only contains the 4 speakers and the active woofer. But im not sure about…

the speakers for the front doors and the subwoofer are bose speakers.

But the tweeters i got together with the bose loudspeakers just seem to be the standard ones which is already in my car.

Which sounds a bit weird to me that only the speakers have been changed and not also the tweeters.

The tweeter only have a batch saying the part number and the audi logo. But the part number have been scratched out soo i am not able to identify it.

Soo what i think is that the seller is trying to hide that the tweeters are just the standard ones and not the ones which should have been included.

When the numberof the tweeters were scratched out it could be possible that he want to hide something…

Martin jeg har et ekstra sæt bosehøjtalere liggende hjeme hos de gamle… kan lige tjekke nummeret på dem i aften, når jeg er derude

det må du gerne, jeg kan se de første numre af part nummeret men ikke de sidste.

Selve bose højttalerne til foran og bagi er rigtig nok (der står ihvertfald bose på dem).

Undrede mig bare lidt over de diskanter.

Du skulle vel ikke have stikket til subwooferen ? evt bare part nummeret på stikket så jeg selv lige kan lave et der virker sammen med resten af anlægget.
