Firstly, sorry for typing in English, my German skills aren't that good yet.
I'm new here, it's good to see all the A3 owners in a single place sharing ideas and thoughts.
I recently bought an A3 Sportback (2011), the car didn't have a Navigation initially and was installed later (Audi Original Navi). Looks like the Navigation System used up the plug / slot which was being used by the Aux. Now the Aux port is inactive.
I'm looking for a possible way to get the Aux working.
The three AUX cables have to be disconnected from quadlock to the separate plug and has to be coded xxxxx5x on control unit 37/56.
The article number of this separate plug is 1J0 972 977 G
Welcome.
When the coding computer is connected, you see the control unit 37 and 56 - it is with RNS-E the same.
Then you see, what I mean with this 5 for AUX - xxxxx5x.
And don´t forget to check the cables - yellow, green and gray - from quadlock to separate plug.
For this see the diagram on BNS 5.0 or one of the radios in internet and the diagram from RNS-E.
