[8L] S3: Will the H&R 25mm lower the S3 equally both front and rear?

Hi there folks, I've sold my A3 8P (silber mit Gewinde und Gallardo's…) and bought a S3 8L 2001 (ganz standard)…I need help in choosing the right springs (federn). I've decided to put Bilstein B8 sprint on the car as I have only heard good things about them. I do not want Gewinde on this car!

I'm looking at H&R 25mm springs together with the Bilstein's. But all other springs (nearly all) lower the car 5mm more in the front…Why not H&R? I think it is a bit strange.

Will the H&R 25mm lower the car equally in the front and the rear?

Will you recommend other springs?

Unfortunately I can't give you any recommondation to the H&R.

I have a K&W suspension kit (no gewinde) with 40/40 on my A3. It loweres the car equally but the problem is, that it looks as if the car is lower in the back. But its just the look, because of the wheel arch. the side skirt is parallel to the ground.

In my opinion is the Bilstein with 25mm not the right one for you.

the oem Sport-Suspensions are also 15-20mm lower…

Ok, Danke. Imagine what it will look like on the S3 which has even wider arches than the A3  Spacers should take care of some of the problem. They will bring out the wheel a little and make the ride height look slightly better…

I have 25mm H&R springs in my S3, pictures are in my gallery.

I know that the S3 is lower than any A3, but the H&R 25mm are designed for the S3, therefore they will lower it approxemetely 25mm. Or do you mean the Quattro gmbh suspension for the S3? That is harder or firmer than standard I guess, but is it lower than standard S3? I don1t even know if my car has that gmbh suspension setup?

Hmm anyone knows the code for this suspension (quattro gmbh for S3 8L)?
